Today we have a small lesson one of the most important thing in English language
It called TENSES
الأزمان
Simple past :- it is an action that start in the past and ends in the past during a particular time
الماضي البسيط
Example: he closed his eyes when his father was about to enter the room

Past continuous :- two action that happened in the past but one happened with in the other
الماضي المستمر
Example: while I was playing, my ball broke the window
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Past perfect :- an action that was completed before the other, in the past
الماضي التام
Example :- yesterday, I had done my home work before going to my friends
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Past perfect progressive :- It is used when two actions occur in the past but one was in progress before the other
الماضي التام المستمر
Example :- he slept for along time because he had been working all night
